You can reset your password and reuse the same User ID. Click the forgot password and provide your UserID, Date of Birth, Unique ID type (Driving Licence, Pan Card, PEN Card etc) that you provide during registration and the ID No of this Unique ID. |

What is One-Time Registration ? |
Every candidate appearing for a Departmental Test from January 2011 onwards, should register their details (Personal, Official & Communication details) before applying for examination. The Registration need to be performed only once and you should log in using this User ID and password for apply for an examination, download your hall ticket, view examination result, apply for certificates etc. |

Do I need to register every time before applying for a Departmental Test ? |
No. You need to register only once and use the same User ID for every application for Departmental or Special Test or any other activities related with Departmental Examinations. |

What is the specification of the photograph? |
The size should be 150 x 200 pixels, with a maximum size of 30 Kb in front facial pose. The back ground should be in light shade, with clearly visible face. The digital form of the photograph obtained from the Studio can be easily transformed into the required specification using any of the Image Processing Softwares like MS-Paint, Adobe Photoshop, GIMP etc. |

When would I be able to apply for examination? |
You would be able to apply for an examination only on issuing of notification for the examination and until the last date. |

Notification will be displayed in Fee Chalan and Payment Details link, only after you apply for papers through the Apply For Test link. |

By what time should I remit fees in the treasury and enter payment details? |
The Commission has decided to collect Certificate Fees along with the Examination Fees from applicants applying for Departmental Tests January 2011 onwards. All candidates must remit both Examination fees (if not free chance) and Certificate fees using two seperate chalans and enter the payment details in the Payment Details link before the last date. The applications without such remittance or with fee shortage shall summarily be rejected on scrutiny after last date. |

Is it necessary that I use only the Chalan form available in the Fee Chalan link for remitting fees? |
Completely filled Chalan form is provided in the website for the convenience of applicants. It is not at all necessary that payment should be made only using this Chalan form. However, applicants using others chalan forms should take care that their remittance does not get short of the required fees. |

Why is my application status showing Payment Due? |
Payment Due in Application status shows that remittance details have not been entered by you after remitting fees in the Treasury. Such applications will be rejected after last date. Both Certificate fees and Examination fees must be remitted before last date and remittance details must be entered in the Payment Details link. |
